The doll come scrambling out from under the lab table where it had been sitting most the day. She just told them it was her's from a very long time, which was true from one that couldn't lie. Yet never spoke about what the doll actually was or represented. It only come running when Nerissa had come storming back inside from having been celebrating the defeat of the latest monster attacks. She was boiling mad, the ebony features twisted in anger. Bato had been outside, talking to them, her playfully bantering about payment for helping heal him several times during battle. But her god daughter had spoken rudely to the werewolf and she had done something never before thought possible. She had backhanded her own daughter for the behavior shown and then stormed off to fight the boiling anger within her.

It danced around the demon's feet. It tried to offer calm soothing words to her. Tried to remind her of people who loved her. The doll held up a small skull that use to belong to a bird. She looks at it and a smile breaks as she can't help but laugh as she lowers herself to the floor of the lab to usher her poppet to her lap. " I get the picture, lil one.." She tells it and tsks as she fixes the doll's dress and checks for cracks. It wouldn't do well if her baby broke. The bones inside were irreplaceable and what created the doll even harder to replicate. She stroked the curls that dangled around the face that looked so much like her long ago, the auburn locks still shiny, her own hair carefully fed into the scalp area. Her pride and joy this one is.

The demon sighs and leans against the wall behind her tiredly, a familiar presence in the back of her mind, speaking softly to her. Her lips smiles for a moment then she closes her eyes to fall asleep, looking more like a doll herself once the mind turns inward and shuts off the outside world.
