Where Am I Going? What Am I Doing?

Trying to fit back into the swing of life. Trying to adjust to being back. She dances beside her god daughter and notices the way she reacts to her presence now, Suyuan's face showing her own inner turmoil. She didn't want to tell her what she had to but the girl just needed to hear it and the truth is all she can spout, regardless how terrible it makes her feel or the others.

Side to side, they danced before finally Suyuan asked to be let go. Withdrawing from her cold touch. Nerissa looks at her and finally jerks her arm away, entire body turning away. "Fine then....do what ya want.." Her mouth almost continued to say 'what you always do' but she ends up sighing and stops dancing, Nerissa turning to go. "I got things to do. I've neglected my duties anyways."

So much has been on her mind, Neri didn't know what to think or do. She's noticed a woman following her a few days back and today she spotted her inside Haven, watching them. Something about her gave her a de ja vu kind of feeling but the woman didn't look familiar to her one iota. So she just cleared out of the bar post haste, heading back towards the shop with a heavy heart, wrapped up in her misery, trying her best to hide the worst of it from others' eyes.

Now, sitting on the Voodoo Shoppe's stoop, Neri watches the streets with a detachment. Hearing the scuttle and scrapping of something moving around before the doll suddenly drops into her lap. She looks to it and wraps her arms around the doll with a sigh, topping her chin on the dark hair. The sudden appearance of Calleigh made her jump and the doll suddenly disappears from her lap as fast as she'd appeared, thankfully more silent. They talk but she can't keep her thoughts straight. So many things running through and making it hard to concentrate.

Her thoughts traces back towards the woman again. She knows she's never seen her. The dark hair, the ivory skin. To her, there seemed to be some years on the woman. She could see the crows feet but the face looked young and full. Lot older to the eye then Omega herself. She doesn't remember seeing many really old people in appearance. Though, of late, she had seen a few really old looking individuals in the city. Tourists most likely. They get them alot. But this woman has been around a lot she thinks.

She'd been thinking hard then something comes to mind. She saw something on her belt loop and blinks. It dawned on her. The woman had the same badge she'd seen on Tazai and Denny both! So, that must of made her an Omegan...maybe she's just like them. Trying to figure the demon out or something.

Its just the way that she looked at her...maybe its time to do some snooping her own. Find out why this weird portly woman is so interested in her.

A Shift

Its been so hard. That eventful day that she finally was given release. She had been moving from corner to corner forever restless like a caged beast. Nerissa covered in gore clear up to her elbows, dripped from her mouth. The sounds of battle caught her attention easily enough and she began to throw herself at her padded door in a frenzy inspite of the drugs that kept her from her worst. The demon couldn't remember when they put her in the cell but to feel him on the other door set her to keening and Neri shoved her arm out the small window, busting the thick glass and shattering her flesh and nearly the delicate bones of her knuckles as she reaches for him. "Tazzzz!!!" She has screeched, the fear in her voice making her voice shrill even in her own ears and then heard him yelling at the ones on the other side with the rest of her family. Blood. Scorched flesh. The sound of gun fire. The screams. Coven swept through the hospital and brought down anyone in their path. He was there and her heart hammered in her chest that she was about dizzy from it as she threw herself against the door over and over even as it began to become twisted and warped as he got to literally pulling at the metal to get her out. He was all she could think of. The need to be in his arms making her hurt herself to get out of the room to him. Even when he got her out, she clung to him, shuddering weakly now as her body wanted to give out finally. The shock swept through her and exhaustion set in. The coven around them with waves of anger radiating off them and dead bodies at their feet. There was no coherent look in her eyes. That what was Nerissa was lost deep within her mind to escape the pain of being a guinea pig. The old fear of hospitals. Tazai was her life line here. A friend. A companion. He held her heart and life now in his hands.

Slowly, they leave, he and she left to heal Will. Well, Taz. She wasn't able to even think on her own..standing there looking lost, rocking from foot to foot, as she watched him when all she wanted to do was run out and thrash anyone in her path.

Alive and now sleeping, Will is left safely hidden to recooperate and she's led out quickly through the back way to get her back to the shop. He was the one that took care of her. Cleaned her of the gore she bathed in when they slipped one too many times. She stank, she knew this, but he sat there beside her and washed her entirely. And as her eyes grew heavy, he held her close, safe, in his arms as she finally just passed out across his thighs where she had finally laid herself so that his hand would slide through her dirty, matted hair as it clung to her sweaty face. The chill barely clinging to her right now. Each tiny sound would make her flinch and tremble against him but he held her safe. And this was how she slept.

Almost a week has passed and only now does there show some sense of normalcy in her eyes. The hair no longer black but a dark auburn of the day she was born. No horns. No tail. No wings. She looked every bit as she had the day of her death but for the tapering ears that poke out of the shaggy hair. She still flinches at sounds. Nerissa's eyes haunted. Keeping close to the shop or in hiding even. He's been gone since then but he's always close to whisper a word to her, soothing. And friends. Family. Reminding her she is not alone.

The Longest Wait Ever

They have to of found them by now. Can they be that weak not to figure out ways to seek them out? The demon paces back and forth the short distance between the walls. The padded room they put her in this time keeping her from endangering herself. She had bloodied her last room with her fretting and anger. That hatred and fear still clings to her all these years. How Nerissa detested hospitals. And the padded walls showed her all too well to be in the lunatic's ward.

She was glad they hadn't put her in a jacket. Not even able to figure out how they managed to get her into there. She hardly slept but the one time her body finally gave out and she'd collapsed this is where she finds herself.

The cloth glistens with frost but its no where as bad as he last place she'd been held in. The blinding lights though made her head hurt and in the end she pressed herself into a corner tightly into a curled up bundle with her pale face pressed into the seam to escape it as best she could.

Nerissa trembled and under her breath cried for him. Wondering if her bond with him helped any. If he could feel her. Sense her. Those eyes haunted her when she closed her own and ached to be in his arms. In that small ball, back to the door and the rest of the room, her finger twisted that crude ring over and over. A cherished item. The one thing she managed to keep throughout this ordeal.

They even took her clothing and the boniness of her form showed ghostly, bruised and battered from her own actions. But atleast she stopped slamming her head against anything solid so that the busted forehead was healing finally. No longer was her head a raven's blue but a curl of deep auburn, hung in limp coils now around her face.

How long?...How long will they come for them? How long must they wait. Her body ached. Riddled with needle marks. Having been strapped down to study her. Nerissa had screamed in terror until finally then even put a bit in her mouth and strapped her jaw so that she was left but a keening screech anytime they came near her until finally she was sedated in the end, to keep her from killing anymore of the white coats.

Now, she sits and waits in a padded room, her eyes watering so that the pale blue gaze looked glazed and she was hundled with but face swimming in her mind to help her through the ordeal.

Inside Some Remote Lab Cell

She paced. She glared. The room was bitterly cold that the walls were layered with heavy ice and anything loose was frozen in place. She seethed. Restless. Nerissa's face was deathly pale, the bruise at her forehead livid against the pallor of her skin. There was a gauntness setting in as well as if she was starving to death. Yet it had only been a few days that they had caught her in the grave yard.

The demon growled as she runs over that day in her mind over and over. She was angry for letting her guard down. Them getting the best of her. She seethed and the pipes groaned from the water frozen inside seemed to swell. There was an electrical charge in the air. Ozone and the smell of dead flowers seemed to manage to make it outside the lab room they threw her into. The window would prove useless to them. No way they'll be able to see her through the one way window. The last person that had entered the room hadn't made it out in one piece. Blood pools all that were left of the technician that had come to check on her while she had lain in her cot without sign of breathing. She could imagine their panic that something may of gone wrong, that drug pumped into her system could of killed her for all they knew.

Nerissa was distraught as much as angry. She couldn't form a single thought. Faces clouded her vision, memories. There's a sudden ripping scream out of her, the sound utterly inhuman as a bain sidhe's woeful cry, before the demon launched herself at her window with a crack of horns to glass. She'd tried this several times to the point she had busted open the head wound she'd gotten when they caught her. In the back of her head, she wondered if her blood still marked the tombstone used to knock her senseless. Staggering back again, she whipped around, tail jerking dangerously back and forth, her back a writhing mass of blinding white tentacles that glowed on their own.

There was little left of her appearance then of anything human. The soft features were etched heavily with pain and exhaustion. She had not slept since she had awoken in the cell. Shadows under her eyes. Her walk was hunched over as she moved back and forth like a caged animal.

No....Nerissa did not do well in confining places..

After a few minutes, perhaps hours..they all just mixed together. That even days could of passed. On the floor she sits, right in the middle, with her body slumped forth with an intense glowing blue gaze locked on the heavy door. Even with her demonic strength, she'd been unable to bust glass or the door down and just sulked anymore.

Under her breath, she talks to herself it seems. Talons raking over the floor until there's groves in the tile and the sound of it dances over the walls eerily.

No....Nerissa does not do well in confining places..

She stops suddenly and looks around, eyes darting around. Nerissa knew there was a camera on her but with luck they'll see not a whole lot this way then through the one way see through window. It seems she's thinking about something when she looks around, checking out every single corner. Not a lick of shadows. A frown creases between her brows and sets her hands in her lap now to play at a ring around her finger, twisting it around and around absently.

This is how the demoness spent several hours afterwards, just sittings, her finger slowly becoming raw as she twisted the ring around.

Frozen Tears

The doll pushed and tugged at her, whimpers coming as it tried to get her to rise off the floor. The demon lied there on her belly, stretched out, tears flowing down her cheeks to become frozen. She cried and couldn't stop. Always her mind would move to one face and the hollowness inside her would clench up, feeling empty anymore. Around her were torn photographs and drawings, shredded beyond recognition. The doll tried in vain to get her to move. Tried to get her to stop crying. Tried to get a smile to her painted lips but the demon neither moved nor stirred but a blink ever so often as she stared off blindly. The pale blue eye glazed over and glistening from the tears spilling down the inside of her eye and dripping from the bridge of her nose to the cold floor under her body.

After a bit, the doll gives up and drops down beside her head, small fingers petting over her head. Nerissa never responded. Never made a sound. Never breathed as there was no ice that coated the floor under her face. The pale face held nothing but sorrow, the eye lost and filled with sadness, loneliness. How can one be happy when one only pined away for the one they wanted. How long must one wait for their attention and watch everyone else get what she desired.

The demon took one shuddering breath and closed her eye lids, hiding the pain and emptiness further inside her. Withdrawing into a shell.

Tohu va Bohu

With a simple mental message, the demon was called back to the Voodoo Shoppe, for their visitors had returned.

Elroy Brouwer *mews* to Neri and points to the table "There over there.. though i got no words out of them."

The two turn their attention to the lady. "No, we're fine" They say in unison though their lips do not move. In a low whisper from an unseen source you can hear a man chatting in some slavic tongue, droning on and on like a professor

Nerissa looks over and nods a little. "They kinda stand out..more then myself even.." She murmurs quietly. She regards them and turns away, hopping up onto the counter for a seat while she picks up the book beside her to look at the pages as though to read.

Elroy Brouwer shakes her head, turning to Neri "They kinda freak me out.. do you know what they want from us?" she talks with her tiny frightened voice.

Footsteps marching, legion up legion of feet marching in time, though they never sound as if they grow nearer or far. "We ask nothing from you. It's the energies the lie beneath this site we enjoy. If it's custom to buy coffee, we understand."

The demon shows a smile to the feline and shakes her head. "The node is strong here..The Pit's not so great..The library itself holds a small pocket..." She shrugs, Nerissa's gaze turning to the two white beings.

"I found out the hard way not to be caught in the lines when ya get killed..it kinda snares the soul in the currents.." She shrugs a little as she thumbs through the pages once more. " Funny, that they speak of coffee. A shame we only have tea blends though..." Nerissa utters an odd little giggle.

Elroy Brouwer smiles back, as she calms down a little turning back to the two sitting at the table "What are they?" she asks Neri.

A howl can be heard in the distance, soon followed by an infant's crying. "We have always been" They reply "We are wanders. We are nothing. We are Tohu va Bohu"

Nerissa 's lids droop a little and sighs, covering a sudden yawn the tears out from her. " without form and void..." she murmurs sleepily.

Nerissa suddenly looks foward, watching the red headed vampire that was outside.

Elroy Brouwer shakes of this weird feeling she has and walks outside "Uhm.. yeah.. if you need me Neri, i will be outside."

Tarot Table: Past - Good chance. marriage. inheritance. Concerning a person: strong. generous. influential man. sexually attractive.
Tarot Table: Future - Completion. Celebration of success. peace. relaxation. satisfaction.

Nerissa nods a little to Ellanore. She is watching the seated pair with no concern of hiding her curiousity about the beings.

The pair decide to flip over the cards before them, and chuckle at fate's hand

Nerissa 's gaze drifts outside and leans a little, watching the streets. "How strange. Ya come and it brings others..." She says quietly.

Elroy Brouwer *mews* sweetly and nods to Shea.

The walls chuckle, "We do apologize for that. We have no control over their dreams."

Elroy Brouwer smiles "Hyies, how is you today?"

Nerissa digs into a small bag, bouncing with her other hand, to draw out three tiles of stone. Setting one down after another beside her. " Not even they could control their dreams.." She muses as she reads the stones' meanings.

The two continue to stare at each other. Something flaps past. "This is true. Little in life has control"

Elroy Brouwer nods agreeing with Shea "Quiet it is for sure, you don't sound relealy optimistic, anything happend?"

Casting the Norn spread, she checks the three elements of past, present and futher. The left represents the past. "Perth.." She murmurs to herself. Reversed. It speaks of chance and gambling. Possibly secrets reveled or mysteries uncovered..A warning about gambling, not to take a chance..The middle represents the present, the demon touches it, "Laguz..." She sighs. "Water..weird. And you are an annoyin' tile to come to hand.." She chortles to herself.

Elroy Brouwer *mews* sweetly "I see.. sounds like you got a pretty quiet day sofar."

Nerissa looks at the stone, reversed for her. "Ebbing tide..power being drawn away..or perhaps a journey?..." She giggles suddenly and thinks on it before she turns her attention to the last stone. "The future..Tyr..God of war.." She leans on a hand she has tucked close to the plate containing the candles, murmuring to herself. " Another reveresed tile..Ya don't like me, do ya stones.." She grins and murmurs to herself. "A sacrifice with no way to lead to satifaction..Lossing what though..Not good at all.."

Calleigh Constantine sneaks up behind Nerissa and pokes her, "Stones and cards are the same, you use them as a tool, not a set course..."

Elroy Brouwer *mews* again seeing Shea enjoy it, teasing him a little with it.

The two begin playing a game with the cards to the sound of thunder. Flipping them over, revealing not the orginal card face buta teal glowing glyph. The stop suddenling as lightening crashes as they repeat "God of War"

Nerissa gathers them quickly and looks out the door, depositing them back into the bag she retrieved them from. "More riddles then answers..or maybe just not focusing. "Callei girl, we got company." she replies.

Nerissa nods her head a little and turns to glance over her shoulder.

Tarot Table: Present - Failure. Difficulties in conservation of harmony. Absence of result after necessary efforts. Psychological growth. Prudence. Care. thoroughness. Great ambitions.

Elroy Brouwer giggles, waving her tail around "They sure are.."

Calleigh Constantine quirks a brow, listening closely as she leans against the counter next to her sister. She glances over to the two strangers, trying to keep her gaze not obvious before looking to the floor, lost in thought for a moment. She whispers, "I talked to Lunana... She said she'd find out all she could, but even for her, since she had fell, resources are limited to her at this time..."

Nerissa gives her sister a look and nods slowly. She turns and gives her attention to the one that enters and smiles. "Hallo, Shea. "

Shea Spoonhammer walks in carefully, trying not to trip over any wards or what not, slightly suspicious of the store. "heya Nerissa"

Wind whips through the store, though nothing is moved, not even the cards. Turning, their pure white eyes seem turn burn. "Do you hear the thunder? Always growing, always hungry. It does not come for us. Does it come for you?"

Krutz Kelberwitz: Princess

Alber Thespian: Princess

Shea Spoonhammer pointing over his shoulder "was just outside, talkin to El, thought maybe ah'd come say hi, and to let you know the dress really was somethin last night"

A deck of cards comes to Nerissa's calling and shuffles slowly while she seems to be thinking though her eye remains on Shea, still smiling. "Need anything? Or just comin' in for a social call?" She asks and draws a card from the deck...The smile falters and glances at the pair.

She blinks and utters a soft chuckle to Shea. "Well, thanks Shea. That's sweet of ya." Nerissa says to him.

Shea Spoonhammer peers through the door at El, motioning her inside to join

Calleigh Constantine glances over to the duo, shivering slightly as she quickly drapes herself in a small amount of fire. She murmurs, "Who's to say till it comes?"

The repeat not in unison but in echos of each others "Who's to say, who's to say"

Nerissa turns slightly and lies the King of Cups down slowly. It makes her frown a little.

Elroy Brouwer shakes her head to Shea "Not coming inside with.. uhm.. those guys hanging around."

Nerissa asks, "What about a princess?" Not looking up, she draws a second card and lies down Justice in reverse..

Shea Spoonhammer shifts a bit from one foot to the other, "ah" to El, then turns back to Nerissa "sorry if I didn't get to say more to ya at the party, but you had a date wit ya, figured....yer busy cardin peoples...well ah just wanted to say hi, and let you know I thought you looked great at the party, so guess ah will step at an let you card away"

Fanning the cards out as best her small hands can to hold, Nerissa pulls out another cared and sets it down. The Justice in reverse. A blush comes to her cheeks as she glances up with a smile. " My friend didn't want me to come alone. That's all Kiyaru is..my friend." She tells him.

The pair return to their game of card glyphs, their voices once more in sync, "She hides from the storm, hoping it will pass over and forget. But we never forget, never forgive. There is a princess here, we feel the magic coursing through her blood. The storm comes for her."

"And actually..just a random readin'.." She looks at the cards down so far and seems not to like what she sees. Nerissa draws another and sets down the 7 of cups.."Temptations.." The words from the white ones has her glances over her shoulder at them, a small furrow to her brow. "..There's lots of royalty around this place.." she tells them.

Shea Spoonhammer hesitates a lil, "oh...like ah said, ah jus didn't want to be that third crowder...type person...ah didn know, but now ah do....ok." coughs a lil, his face reddening and feeling quite warm "well, while you card, gonna see what oh El is doin...ah don personally gamble, er mess with cards...ain got the luck fer it"

Pix Cazalet walks quietly into the shop, gazing at all the new people "umm hi there. Don't mind me, just passing through"

Calleigh Constantine steps out from behind the counter, now leaning against the wall as she ignores Shea and Nerissa's conversation, focusing on the two, still silently listening.

Their voices first run backwards then seem to pause before playing forward, "Yes, but you are the only one hiding from the storm."

Shea Spoonhammer nods to Pix

Pix Cazalet stops in her tracks "Shea? You're back?"

Shea Spoonhammer smiles "ah been gettin that a lot lately"

Nerissa hastely draws another before the cards jump from her hands as she starts and snaps. "I'm not! Yer full of shit!" She says suddenly and jumps up.

Calleigh Constantine's eyes dart over to Nerissa, "Easy Nerissa..."

((the men in white, are white...not ressed induced))

Pix Cazalet chuckles "not surprised. Thought I'd never see you again. Great to have you home again"

Shea Spoonhammer shakes his head "nah, ah'm permanent, jus had some off island issues is all fer awhile"

Nerissa gathers the cards and banishes the rest that had fallen to the floor. She moves behind the counter and puts it between her and the pair at the table.

Elroy Brouwer peeks throught the windows from outside staring at the two sitting besides the table, hoping they will disappear soon.

The pair look up from the table, "Do not fear us. We are not your storm. We have told you nothing you did not already know."

Pix Cazalet nods and appears overjoyed to see him. "All sorted?"

Annoyed or nervous, either way, they have Nerissa's hackled raised as she glares at them in silence.

Pix Cazalet looks over to them white things at the table "Storm? Isn't she one of the prowlers?"

Alber Thespian looks at his twin, "Today, we are not her storm today."

Krutz Kelberwitz nods in reply, "Still, even then, we wouldnt be her storm, but everyones"

Calleigh Constantine frowns, "Metaphorically speaking Pix, not a being... an action..." She keeps her eyes locked on the two.

Shea Spoonhammer nods "yeah to be sure...no more....vacations so ta speak, so yer stuck wit me...actually came here lookin ta see ya, heard you were head thingy...poobah er whatever, wanted to congratulate ya, an in the mean time been meeting....and re-meeting, yer um...Poobah-ees"

In unison they reply to each other, together, "This is true"

Pix Cazalet shrugs a little "the other one seems to cause enough problems"

Shea Spoonhammer looks around the room at the two wondering the fuss, then back to Pix

Pix Cazalet raises her finger and leans forward in an attempt to prod him. "They are not my pooh anything"

Shea Spoonhammer laughs "ah'm not entirely sure, but I may have made that last one up...but you can use it if you like...poobah-ees...has a ring to it"

Nerissa looks at the cards in her hands and together again, she shuffles them before putting them away with a scowl on her lips. She seems uncertain, a low coldness radiating outward from her that carries the frost. " I'm not a princess." She mutters angrily.

Pix Cazalet grins back attempting to control a chuckle "somehow I don't think they'd like it"

Shea Spoonhammer laughs "the offers still open, least till ah trademark it"

Pix Cazalet: Give it to the pack, suits them I think.

Shea Spoonhammer nods, somewhat solemnly "ah hear they been givin grief away like it was Christmas"

Nerissa glances around the room before she turns and slips past the ward to the back room with a quiet growl under her breath.

Coven Ward: ((By entering this room, you acknowledge that should you enter an aggressive stance within the Coven building, the wards will take defensive measures.))

The two return to their attention to the card table, the low buzzing of locusts permutates throughout the shop

Calleigh Constantine crosses her arms behind her back as she leans against the wall, watching Nerissa closely, before whispering, "But why wish this torrent upon people? Anyone for that matter." She directs at the beings.

Shea Spoonhammer remembers the tenfold rule, and simply nods

Pix Cazalet sighs and gazes out through the open door. "Luckily they haven't threatened us yet"

Shea Spoonhammer nods "lucky fer whom?"

Shuffling the cards again, slowly staring at the carpet when she settles on it, the demon frowns harder. Her mind races and she sets the deck down, drawing it out to fan infront of her, and choses three cards for herself randomly. Laying one after another to rest in front of her as well.

The locus swarm grows, "We wish nothing. We revealed nothing. We are nothing."

Pix Cazalet: For us of course. I don't look forward to a battle with the pack, although..... I'm sure we could take care of them if provoked"

Pix Cazalet: Did you say you wanted me for something Shea?

Shea Spoonhammer nods "ah figure as much. though no sheddin is always a plus, but they're agressive as o late from what ah hear"

Shea Spoonhammer shakes his head "jus not to many familiar faces in Toxia, heard you were still kickin, figured ah would say hi"

Calleigh Constantine keeps her headphones planted against her ears to block out some of the buzzing sound, but frowns, "Then why do you seem to exsist? To exist, you must be something, correct?"

Pix Cazalet smiles warmly. "Always nice to meet up with old friends"

Shea Spoonhammer nods with a growing smile "always nice to be greeted with a smile by em as well"

Pix Cazalet nods happily. "Tell me where you've been then, what excitement befell you"

The walls laugh loundly only to reflect off other walls as the two seem frozen, one with his hand still on the deck of cards as they reply, "Too many have asked why we are here, but no one has asked that. You are wise, so simply know, one day we will bring about nothing and creation shall cease to be. Today is not that day. "

The left card is turned over. Representing important things of the past. "Six of Clubs.." She says to herself, just rambling under her breath. "Mermories..past influences. " Things that have vanished. Childhood past...nostalgia..faded images..longing..Her brow furrows and turns the middle card over. "Decidin' element of the present..Five of swords.." She sighs, the card reversed, defeat..Uncertain outlook. Chance of loss or defeat..Weakness. It all has her tensing up.

Pix Cazalet head swings around to gaze at the beings as she hears his words. "What are you and what is your attraction to here?"

Shea Spoonhammer nods "ah went off to find out some things about the Institute actually, mainland...they showed up same time the incident occured with a few others in tow...anyway" pausing as the beings and Pix converse "ah was lookin fer answers on the cause of the incident and what was done about it followin...didn't find much though, other than some funky lookin business move ins, an outs"

Nerissa listens from where she is to the front of the shop while she reaches for the last card, flipping over to see the Nine of Wands. " Bloody hell..." she growls again and the cards are snatched up and thrown across the sofa.

Calleigh Constantine frowns again, scratching her head before looking to Pix. "The Tohu va bohu... those before the light. If my translation is right.."

A child giggles before entering a chant of ring around the rosey, "You ask what everyone ask. We are nothing and we enjoy the energy flowing under this site."

Shea Spoonhammer furrows his brow "okay that is freakin me out..."

Pix Cazalet nods to Shea "As it is me" then looks to Calleigh and says in a hushed tone "we need to start researching I think, twice in two days is not a coincidence"

Calleigh Constantine glances over to Pix, nodding as her golden eyes spark, She murmurs back "We already done some..."

The whistle of a bomb dropping seems to come directly overhead, "Do not worry. We pose you no threat."

Pix Cazalet tries to play down the two beings at the far end of the shop and looks back to Shea "Does Tony know you're back?"

Coven Ward: ((By entering this room, you acknowledge that should you enter an aggressive stance within the Coven building, the wards will take defensive measures.))

Calleigh Constantine bites her thumb, hearing the sound above before looking over at Nerissa, eyeing her with a small sense of worry.

Shea Spoonhammer shakes his head "no, ah never really talked to Tony when ah was ere...always very abrasive"

Nerissa wanders back out but she keeps most the time the beings at her back now. Her face is composed and near softened of all lines. Whatever is on her mind has been sealed behind walls.

Pix Cazalet frowns a little and sighs. "Always trying to hide behind a barrier"

Pix Cazalet smiles at the new arrival "Greetings sir"

Olympix Footman: hi

Nerissa lifts her gaze, all but the one eye taking in the man that just entered. She asks, "What can we do ya for? Or just browsin'?"

Olympix Footman: browsin

Nerissa ahs and nods. "Kindly stay on this side of the buildin'. Back door's off limits to customers less yer escorted."

Olympix Footman: ok

Olympix Footman: how can I be part of this family

Shea Spoonhammer looks at Pix, then to the newcomer "first you go up on the roof, tie a cinder block to yer genitals, and toss it off, hopin Pix gave ya enough rope....er did Tony change it?"

Shea Spoonhammer coughs

Pix Cazalet laughs "Tony didn't, but I did"

Nerissa suddenly barks with a laugh and lifts a hand up to her lips to muffle it.

A lamb bahhs from the cold as the pair return to their game

After wandering to the window, Nerissa looks out the filthy pane of glass to the street. Watching traffic or just lost in thought.

Calleigh Constantine frowns hearing the lamb, shaking her head saddly as she tries to ignore the random sounds. She watches the two play their game, eyes flashing as she tries to get a sight of the cards.

Pix Cazalet glances over to the white beings and thinks aloud "are we charging them rent?"

The two look over, "We offered to buy coffee, we understand that is custom."

Shea Spoonhammer raises his eyebrows at the two white things "coffee. okay" removes his sunglasses and takes a cigarette from a silver inscribed case, lighting it with a small zippo, and replacing the items into his jacket

Nerissa sighs quietly and moves away from the seated pair once more as she lays hand to her stomach, fingers pressing past flesh as if nothing but putty greeted her talons, tugging to the side to show a small wash of blue the same color as her eye. She doesn't seem aware of her actions, just wandering around the shop and slips out the door.

Together they rise and move to depart

Calleigh Constantine watches the two move in sync, blinking as they do.

Shea Spoonhammer reaches to Pix's elbow to move her gently backwards with a slight tug

Shea Spoonhammer whispers to Pix "didn't figure they'd say excuse me..."

Nerissa had moved back hastely as she watched them pass and her eyes follow as they go down the street. "Does one need to follow?"

Elroy Brouwer sighs as the two finaly take there leave "I don't like there presence." she turns to look at Neri.

Nerissa nods slowly, still bothered by their comment to her earlier.

Calleigh Constantine frowns, "We realy need to keep an eye on them... doesnt feel exactly right... but... I 'unno."

Nerissa glances at Calleigh with a small furrow. " Is it wrong to be scared of Them?" she asks in a small voice.

Calleigh Constantine glances over to Nerissa, smiling weakly, "It'd be going against myself to say it was... I hold some fear, but more curiosity about them."

Pix Cazalet: Some curiosity or even fear is a good thing

Pix Cazalet: Best to be wary

Calleigh Constantine nods, "Be wary and keep an eye out.."

Elroy Brouwer shakes her head "It is not that i fear them, it is just they give me this weird feeling when they are around, don't know how to explain it else." looks back to the streets and wanders of in her thoughts again.

Nerissa pulls free her fingers, flesh sealing up again. She frowns a little and looks down then turns her gaze towards the west, where they'd gone. " I don't understand why they talk of a storm..And I don't like that they call me Princess.."

Nerissa sighs and lays her hands to her pelvis and rubs with a grimace of pain. " Ever since Sieran made me eat that damn stone I removed from my eye, my stomach's been hurtin'..."

Calleigh Constantine frowns and looks at Nerissa, "Simple.. take it out." Scratches her head, "Take that back, that was stupid of me."

Shea Spoonhammer raises his eyebrows with a bit of an 'ew face' at the prospect of eating anything that came out of one's eye

Pix Cazalet frowns and turns her head away

Nerissa utters a small laugh as she looks to Calleigh. "I would but its part of the wards he said. If it comes out, they'll shatter..we don't want that."

Nerissa waves her hand before the healling black hole. " I'll just be glad when I can see again..fuckin' hurt when he'd shoved it in..hurt worse when I clawed it out.."

Calleigh Constantine cringes, nodding, "Yeah, no good there..." Thinks for a moment, snapping her fingers, "Why not put a magical bubble about it? It's not being bothered but protects your innards?"

Elroy Brouwer nods slowly agreeing with Calleigh.

Nerissa looks down a little, chin to collar, and frowns. "...I'm still kinda worried..what we talked about the last time we talked. '8 hours [you] will have a seed'...He acted like I was gonna get pregnant by a blood stone.."

Nerissa looks to Shea and gives an apologetic smile. "Sorry..for ignorin' ya like that. My brain's kinda in over drive right now.."

Shea Spoonhammer waves his hand dismissingly "ah was married fer over a year...ah'm use to bein ignored sweetheart"

Calleigh Constantine jumps slightly looking suprised and worried, "Holy fu--" Pauses, noticing her sister deciding to change the subject, she quickly drops it and looks back, raising a brow.

Shea Spoonhammer: an fer the record, sounds like you have more pressin issues than entertainin guests...

Nerissa grunts faintly and crinkles her nose up cutely. "Yer not a guest. Yer a friend..least I hope so." She tells him.

Shea Spoonhammer smiles and blushes a lil "thank you Nerissa, I like the sound of that"

Nerissa looks around and sighs. "I think I'll go rest a little..before the meetin'....I feel like someone just sucked a bunch of energy outta me.."

Nerissa hurries over and hugs Shea, her small cold body tightly squeezing for such a small package.

"I'll catch ya'll inna few." She turns to Calleigh. "If they come back, let me know what happen?"

Calleigh Constantine nods firmly, "Of course."

Shea Spoonhammer smiles warmly, holding her tightly, not feeling the cold aura she usually gives off, then lets go "see you around Nerissa...to be sure"

Kindred Masquerade Ball

What a night. And, oh what a good one it was...The nervousness that gripped her made her eyes wide and her arm clutched to her friend's arm, Kiyaru insisting that he accompany her so she wouldn't be alone. She protested loudly and often until the very minute of the ball itself begun but he refused to listen to her, to offer his arm to her, and his ear for her words.

She had sighed and given in, in the end; Small hands clasping tightly the billowy sleeve of his upper arm as she tucked in against him with her gown lightly dragging behind with each step. The comments about her appearance made her smile and stain deeply with a blush, her coven sisters around her all dressed in their own little costumes. Only two hours had passed and he had to go, leaving her there alone...how she hated being alone. The demon had stood there, listening to music. Had pounced Kishi for a brief moment to dance, and then she was heading out with a restlessness to walk back to the shop.

The shop wasn't empty. A couple of the initiates where there and a single customer. She had let them handle it, to get practice working in the Voodooo Shoppe, and slipped out the backdoor in the casting room to sit on the cold banister to watch the moon play over the ripples topping the water, the single pale blue eye wandering before tears begun to come up to burn. She tried to stop it with her palm but the mask still worn prevented her from even getting to it so that they trickled down behind it and down her cheek to leave traces in the makeup and loose face powder. Thankfully she managed to contain them in the end and slipped off, once more restless to walk around the city slowly.

Perhaps an hour, more or less, and she feels a familiar touch to her mind. That hyper mind poking at her thoughts insistent to get her attention. And as always it would bring a smile to her and laugh even when she's alone. No wonder they look at her funny anymore, random bouts of laughter.

This led to a long night of playing mind tag before finally meeting up to just hanging out like old times sakes. Talking. Jesting. Sharing thoughts as she threw things harmlessly at him. Such a spazzy demon, that made her feel like her cheeks would crack from grinning too much.

It was a good night, that she will cherish always.
