Inside Some Remote Lab Cell

She paced. She glared. The room was bitterly cold that the walls were layered with heavy ice and anything loose was frozen in place. She seethed. Restless. Nerissa's face was deathly pale, the bruise at her forehead livid against the pallor of her skin. There was a gauntness setting in as well as if she was starving to death. Yet it had only been a few days that they had caught her in the grave yard.

The demon growled as she runs over that day in her mind over and over. She was angry for letting her guard down. Them getting the best of her. She seethed and the pipes groaned from the water frozen inside seemed to swell. There was an electrical charge in the air. Ozone and the smell of dead flowers seemed to manage to make it outside the lab room they threw her into. The window would prove useless to them. No way they'll be able to see her through the one way window. The last person that had entered the room hadn't made it out in one piece. Blood pools all that were left of the technician that had come to check on her while she had lain in her cot without sign of breathing. She could imagine their panic that something may of gone wrong, that drug pumped into her system could of killed her for all they knew.

Nerissa was distraught as much as angry. She couldn't form a single thought. Faces clouded her vision, memories. There's a sudden ripping scream out of her, the sound utterly inhuman as a bain sidhe's woeful cry, before the demon launched herself at her window with a crack of horns to glass. She'd tried this several times to the point she had busted open the head wound she'd gotten when they caught her. In the back of her head, she wondered if her blood still marked the tombstone used to knock her senseless. Staggering back again, she whipped around, tail jerking dangerously back and forth, her back a writhing mass of blinding white tentacles that glowed on their own.

There was little left of her appearance then of anything human. The soft features were etched heavily with pain and exhaustion. She had not slept since she had awoken in the cell. Shadows under her eyes. Her walk was hunched over as she moved back and forth like a caged animal.

No....Nerissa did not do well in confining places..

After a few minutes, perhaps hours..they all just mixed together. That even days could of passed. On the floor she sits, right in the middle, with her body slumped forth with an intense glowing blue gaze locked on the heavy door. Even with her demonic strength, she'd been unable to bust glass or the door down and just sulked anymore.

Under her breath, she talks to herself it seems. Talons raking over the floor until there's groves in the tile and the sound of it dances over the walls eerily.

No....Nerissa does not do well in confining places..

She stops suddenly and looks around, eyes darting around. Nerissa knew there was a camera on her but with luck they'll see not a whole lot this way then through the one way see through window. It seems she's thinking about something when she looks around, checking out every single corner. Not a lick of shadows. A frown creases between her brows and sets her hands in her lap now to play at a ring around her finger, twisting it around and around absently.

This is how the demoness spent several hours afterwards, just sittings, her finger slowly becoming raw as she twisted the ring around.
